We stayed in the Ilion Hotel for the first week of September 2020. We had a lovely welcome from Sofia, the hostess, who made lots of home made treats for breakfast every morning - from pancakes to baklava etc.

Without doubt, this is one of the best kept little hotels less than 20 meters from the beach. Fabulous breakfast, Swiss clean, and run my a darling woman who bakes all the traditional food in her own kitchen. Look no further, this hotel has it all, including peace and quite and only meters from a great beach and peaceful area.

We stayed for six nights and it was really great. Sofia is so friendly although she doesn’t speak a great deal of English. She welcomed us with a glass of orange juice then gave us a map and pointed out the places of interest on the island. There is only one word to describe her breakfasts ‘Astonishing’. It’s just a fabulous home made array of cakes, savoury pastries like quiches, little crepes, croissants, fresh bread with jam, Nutella etc. there’s yogurt, peaches, grapes, hard-boiled eggs then she gets cracking with the omelettes.

The hotel owner Sofia, is a lovely lady who goes out of her way to make her guests very comfortable. Her beautifully cooked breakfasts each morning were a delight! We loved our stay in Naxos and believe a lot of our enjoyment of our time there was because of our wonderful stay at Illion Hotel - we would definitely like to return and highly recommend this hotel.
